Marian Devotion Retreat

Have a weekend with Our Blessed Mother Mary

Ave Maria! Have you ever thought you needed to grow in your devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary? Want to grow in understanding in our Catholic faith and deepen your prayer life, while taking some time to get away from it all? This retreat is for you.

Three times a year, Our Lady of Corpus Christi embarks on a journey closer to Jesus through Mary. Begin with a retreat, journey 33 days and make your consecration, giving your whole heart, to Jesus thru the loving hands of Mary.

A THREE STEP PREPARATION PROCESS

Step 1: Weekend Retreat
Beginning Thursday 5:30pm
Finishing Sunday 1:30pm

Roughly 33 days prior to the day of Consecration, spend the weekend learning who Mary is, what it means to be consecrated to Jesus through Mary, and how to pray with Mary. Learn how Mary can bring us closer to Jesus through consecration.

The Blessed Mother… is the safest, easiest, shortest and most perfect way of approaching Jesus”– St Louis de Montfort, True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin, 56.

Step 2: 33 Day Prayerful Preparation
Spend 33 days prayerfully preparing for your consecration at home. Just follow the book, provided during the retreat, as you journey toward consecration day. This prayerful preparation is essential in giving a whole-hearted “yes” to Jesus thru the hands of Mary on consecration day!

Step 3: Consecration Day

Consecration will be made after the noon Mass in Our Lady of Corpus Christi Perpetual Adoration Chapel (the Blue Dome), and celebrate together with Lunch after Mass!

NOTE: This step is optional.

Consecration may be made in your parish or privately at home.

Consecration Days:

March 25: Annunciation

August 15: Assumption of Mary

December 8: Immaculate Conception of Mary
